The Lucille F. Stickel Box Turtle Research Award
Lucille Stickel
Dr. Lucille F. Stickel
In honor of the life and work of Lucille F. Stickel, who died in early 2007, the Box Turtle Conservation Workshop Committee has established the Lucille F. Stickel Box Turtle Research Award.  This award is established to support conservation projects and research which contributes to the survival of wild box turtle populations.  The Committee will award one or more conservation or research grants following a competitive proposal review process.  Grants are small, and will generally range from $500 to $1500.00.

Proposals for the Lucille F. Stickel Box Turtle Research Award for 2009 are no longer being accepted.  Please continue to monitor this web page for announcements concerning future awards.
